Miramap was founded in 2004 by Delft University of Technology engineer Roland Haarbrink, with support from the European Space Agency in Noordwijk. At ESA, Miramap developed an innovative scanner to accurately detect sub surface soil moisture variations, to be used by watermanagers in the Netherlands.
After two years of research, development and succesful demonstration of the new system, Miramap left the ESA business incubator facility in 2006. Nowadays, Miramap has grown into a business with unique expertise on inspections with a variety of sensorcombinations from moving and flying platforms.
